Chhattisgarh Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation Raipur was established on 20.05.2004 as a non-profit making company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. It is an undertaking of the Government of Chhattisgarh, Social Welfare Department, which is managed through the Board of Directors nominated by the Government of Chhattisgarh. National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi (NHFDC) has been authorized on 06.04.2004 as a channelizing agency by entering into a contract with the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi (NHFDC) at the national level to provide loans to Divyangjans in Chhattisgarh in order to connect the Divyangjans with the main stream of self-employment and to conduct the process of their economic rehabilitation, the loan amount is sanctioned at the lowest rate of interest. A total of 2796 Divyang beneficiaries have been benefited from the year of establishment till the financial year 2022-23 by approving loans under the conditions of National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation New Delhi (NHFDC).
